Alley Cat

Established in 1975, the Alley Cat began life as one of three neighborhood bars in the Broadripple area. As Broadripple grew into a major entertainment, dining, and shopping district, the Alley Cat has maintained it's down home atmosphere where booze, pool, and music is still its primary focus.

A perennial winner of the "Best Dive Bar" awards of local publications, the Alley Cat received national recognition in 2003 when named one of the "Top 20 Dive Bars in America" by Stuff magazine. Hidden in an alley between the dumpsters and night clubs, the Alley Cat sports an eclectic patronage where the bling and tattoos mix with the yuppies and suits earning it the "Best People Watching" award.
